Sharp and smooth cutting
|
| Review Date: June 24, 2009 |

| These knives are sharp and smooth cutting. My husband and I wondered why we hadn't bought them years earlier. The price is great. Consumer reports recommended them. So I bought and fell in love. |

| These knives are light weight yet powerful and precise. I am in agreement with Consumer Reports' assessment...totally pleased. |
Made in China
|
| Review Date: September 30, 2009 |
| Reviewer: J, |
These knives spin the Japan imagery too far. The back of the package reads "made in China" in bold letters. I have heard that steel produced in China often contains lead. My main reason for shelling out forty dollars for these knives was for non-china steel. Additionally, although the knives are fairly sharp, the form of the blade (slots on the Santoku) look cheap in comparison to the quality advertised.
